What to expect:

After going up with the cable car to the summit of Aiguille de Midi, altitude 3842meters, your high mountain guide will kit you up with the necessary equipment; helmet, climbing crampons if necessary, rope and a mountaineering harness. You will cross the ice cave to arrive at the snow peak. This is the essence of mountaineering.

The flight from Aiguille du Midi is an absolutely amazing flight.

After the 20 minutes climb all kitted-up and under the supervision of your expert high-mountain guide, you will arrive at the take-off site. There is where you will take off from, attached to your pilot. Altitude 3700m!!! Unbelievable! From there you will fly to the heart of the Mont Blanc.

You must be in excellent physical condition for this flight.

BEFORE FLYING

If you wish, you can take control of the paraglide under the watchful eye of your instructor. Before reaching the landing zone and only if you dare, we can take advantage of the skies and use the altitude to perform acrobatic manoeuvres.

For the Aiguille du Midi flight, ski or mountaineering outfits are required, with a pair of proper climbing boots. Sunglasses are highly recommended.

The meeting with your pilot is at the bottom of the Aiguille du Midi cable car. You must buy your own ticket for the cable car (one-way ticket at around € 52). It is also possible, for your companion, to watch from the take-off site. For this they must purchase the return ticket for the cable car. However, if they prefer they can meet you at landing site near Chamonix town centre.

For this flight, two options are available depending on the weather conditions: Take off on the north face: Chamonix side with a flight over the majestic north face of the Aiguille du Midi; or take off on the south face with a flight over the valley Blanche... But the wind is the boss and he will decide the direction!
