What to expect:
5 minutes walk out of the Planpraz Gondola, with panoramic breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and you are at the take-off area. From the take off area you will be able to enjoy panoramic views of the Chamonix valley, as well as, the summits of l’aiguille verte, les drus, les aiguilles of Chamonix et of course the Mont-Blanc in its 4810m glory.
A flight suitable for children even for the very little ones; available to passengers age 4 to 14. The flight usually takes place in the morning in gentle wind conditions, around 9 or 10 am and why not benefit from the special rates for children for these hours.
We have special equipment designed specifically for children.
After a short briefing, the flight lasts between 20 to 30 minutes during the summer months and 15 to 20 minutes during the winter months. For peoples who want to spent more time in the air, we have the long duration flight available however for the spring and summer months only. Those last from 45 minutes to an hour. And for the more adventurous, we offer also the thrills flight with acrobatics.
Weather conditions permitting, we can explore the thermals and pass over the surrounding areas and discover the Chamonix valley with its secret spots. Maybe spot a chamois or two. Who knows maybe even eagles. You can also try your hand on the paraglide under of course the watchful eye of your pilot.
In winter you can fly with your ski outfit and a good pair of snow boots. Don't forget your sunglasses!
In the summer, depending of course on the temperature, you can fly with a fleece a windbreaker and sport shoes. However long trousers are recommended and don't forget your sunglasses.
The whole process takes about an hour and the landing is near the centre of Chamonix.

Good to know before
the flight:
If you like, you can take over the controls of the paraglide, under the watchful eye of your pilot. Before reaching the landing zone and of course only if you wish, or dare, we can also try some acrobatic manoeuvres.

The meeting with your pilot is at the start of the Planpraz cable car. You must buy your own ticket for the cable car (around € 15). It is also possible, for your companion, to watch from the take-off site. For this they must purchase the return ticket for the cable car. However, if they prefer they can meet you at landing site near Chamonix town centre.
You have 3 options for this flight; the classic version 15 to 30 minutes of flight in spring-summer and 15 to 20 minutes in winter (the whole process takes about an hour), the long-term version which is 45 minutes to 1 hour of flight (allow at least 90 minutes of your time) and finally the thrill flight with acrobatic version around 15 to 20minutes in the air.
